Wander Kyoto Nanajo

I recently stayed at Wander Kyoto Nanajo and had a wonderful experience. The hotel provides clean, modern, and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price, making it an ideal choice for travelers. Its location is excellent, situated conveniently close to many of Kyoto's attractions, public transportation, and delightful eateries. What truly made my stay memorable was the kindness and hospitality of the staff and owners. They were always ready to help with any inquiries or needs, offering valuable recommendations about the local area and ensuring I felt welcomed. Their friendly and accommodating nature significantly enhanced my stay.

Great location! Right near the river and plenty of bus/train routes available very close by. So many food options, and very close walking distance to Kyoto Train Station (~10minutes). Rooms were an okay size, small but we had already anticipated that. The lounge had lots of hot and cold options for complimentary drinks throughout most of the day which we took advantage of, very tasty. Staff were extremely friendly and eager to help.

Easy to get to hotel from Kyoto station. Near Keihan train line (can take it to Osaka one direction, Gion the other) and several bus lines. Free drink (still and sparkling water, flavored soda, coffee, tea) dispensing machines and microwave on the ground floor in dining area. Two washer/dryers (800 yen per full wash/dry). Front desk and cleaning staff were super, although English was minimal. Good internet. Opposite seven-eleven. Long but doable walk to temples. Quiet. Snazzy (and standard) Japanese toilet :)

Location is a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station, 7/11 across the road where you can pick up a few things, Launderette there for doing washing 800 yen for a big load, be careful to keep an eye on the time though as they took my washing out as soon as it had finished as someone else needed it, so had to grab from reception, meaning clothes were not dry, Good Pastry shop over the bridge for breakfast also a McDonalds as well, 2 minute walk to nearest Metro station again over the bridge. Overall nice hotel with free amenities, fridge and kettle in room,

This place is very well located -- a 1 km walk to the train station (with bags, take a taxi.....the taxis are reasonable in Kyoto.) -- a 300 walk over the river to the main north-south metro stop -- a 20 minute walk up the canal to experience the Nishiki Market. The hotel has a homey vibe. People buy food and bring it to the lobby, which is easier on the budget. Microwave and water are available. The rooms were bigger than expected.
