I recently stayed at Wander Kyoto Nanajo and had a wonderful experience. The hotel provides clean, modern, and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price, making it an ideal choice for travelers. Its location is excellent, situated conveniently close to many of Kyoto's attractions, public transportation, and delightful eateries. What truly made my stay memorable was the kindness and hospitality of the staff and owners. They were always ready to help with any inquiries or needs, offering valuable recommendations about the local area and ensuring I felt welcomed. Their friendly and accommodating nature significantly enhanced my stay.

We loved this hotel! Clean and modern, amazing professional staff that helped us with everything! Right across the street from a 711 and a delicious Indian restaurant open til late. Other great restaurants located on the street as well! 15 minute walk to the Kyoto Station with more restaurants and access. Bus stops were close by. The waiting area with complimentary drinks/hot drinks was SUCH a fun treat! We received water bottles from the hotel, they cleaned our rooms, we did our laundry there as well. The staff were helpful in shipping our luggage to Osaka. Rooms were smaller side but clean and we were so happy to stay there!

Location is a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station, 7/11 across the road where you can pick up a few things, Launderette there for doing washing 800 yen for a big load, be careful to keep an eye on the time though as they took my washing out as soon as it had finished as someone else needed it, so had to grab from reception, meaning clothes were not dry, Good Pastry shop over the bridge for breakfast also a McDonalds as well, 2 minute walk to nearest Metro station again over the bridge. Overall nice hotel with free amenities, fridge and kettle in room,

Easy to get to hotel from Kyoto station. Near Keihan train line (can take it to Osaka one direction, Gion the other) and several bus lines. Free drink (still and sparkling water, flavored soda, coffee, tea) dispensing machines and microwave on the ground floor in dining area. Two washer/dryers (800 yen per full wash/dry). Front desk and cleaning staff were super, although English was minimal. Good internet. Opposite seven-eleven. Long but doable walk to temples. Quiet. Snazzy (and standard) Japanese toilet :)

Rooms were an okay size, small but we had already anticipated that. The lounge had lots of hot and cold options for complimentary drinks throughout most of the day which we took advantage of, very tasty. Staff were extremely friendly and eager to help.
